In the southern hemisphere, from a high pressure center, what directions do winds flow?
My science teacher said that the coriolis effect bends winds that come out of a high pressure center to the right in a clockwise direction in the northern hemisphere. Would that make them bend counterclockwise in the southern hemisphere?
