The second meiotic division of meiosis is important because..?

I'm pretty sure that is is 4, i know its not 1,3,or 5. if the cell starts with 46 chromosomes than during meiosis it would have 46 before meiosis 2. if this gamete was fertilized with another gamete with 46 chromosomes by meiosis 2 it would have 92 and i think each subsequent fertilization it would continue to double.
